Guided Fly Fishing Trips

Nomad Anglers offers guided fly fishing trips in the Grand Rapids area on the Grand River, Rogue River, Thornapple River, Flat River, and Muskegon River.  Our head guide Christian Gradowski is a licensed and insured fly fishing guide eager to take you on your next local fly fishing adventure. 

Guided fly fishing trips are available for Trout, Salmon, Steelhead, and Bass. 

Float Trip Rates
$350 (1-2  Anglers) - Half Day (~4 hours)
$450 (1-2 Anglers) - Full Day (~6 hours)
 
Wade Trip Rates

$225 (1-2 Anglers) - 2 hours 
$325 (1-2 Anglers) - 4 hours

Policies
Our policies are straightforward and are designed to help you secure your booking and enjoy your time on the river.

  • We require a $150 deposit at the time of the booking to hold your date. The balance will be due on the day of the trip.
  • If you cancel 30 days prior to your trip, your deposit will be refunded.
  • If you cancel within 30 days, it is at our discretion to allow rescheduling, refund, etc.
  • If you cancel within 7 days, your deposit will be lost.
  • We will try to be fair and flexible when it comes to these matters.
  • Use of alcohol is discouraged.
  • Use of illegal drug is not allowed.

What To Expect:
We pride our self on making sure you have a great trip, whether that comes from fish caught, lessons learned, or 
conversations had while out on the water. Every trip is tailored to your needs and wants, do not hesitate to ask for a special request on trip location, species, or style of fishing (dry fly, streamers, swing flies, nymphing).     

Half day -
All Species, Seasonal, 4-5 hours in length, 1-2 Anglers, Use of Flies and Equipment, You will need to Purchase a Michigan Fishing License  , Catch and Release Only.

Full day - 
All Species, Year Round, 6-7 hours in length, 1-2 Anglers, Use of Flies and Equipment, You will need to Purchase a Michigan Fishing License  , Catch and Release Only.

Walk In -
All Species, Seasonal, 2 hour minimum, Use of Flies and Equipment, You will need to Purchase a Michigan Fishing License  , Catch and Release Only.

What to Bring: 
Weather depending bring warm layers( layers you can easily strip off and put back on depending on what the day brings) , rain gear ( rain jacket waterproof shoes or waders) , and proper sun protection ( sun screen, sun shirts, facemasks, hat, sunglasses) but never underestimate mother nature. We supply Flies, rod and reels, but feel free to bring your own stuff if you want to. We recommend waders but some times we can get away without them, just ask when booking a trip if they are needed. Waters are provided but pack your own lunch and snacks. If you have any medical condition please inform us before hand.
