Brian Bielecki
Brian grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan where his love of fly fishing grew on the Rogue River in Rockford.  During his freshman year at Michigan State University he aquired job at the local fly shop and hasn't left since. His fishing experience has brought him around the world to destinations far and near. Brian has owned Nomad Anglers since 2006 and has a wife and 3 boys at home.

Rick Lewandowski

Rick arrived at Nomad Anglers and East Lansing by way of Detroit, after retiring from a career in the auto industry in 2014. He began fly-fishing in 1965 (at age 13) with an outfit purchased from a Sears Roebuck catalog, and, to this day, is still perfecting his craft.  Having spent time on most river systems both north and south of the Bridge, Rick has also had the opportunity to fish Ontario, Colorado and Germany.
Settling into the Lansing area, Rick is learning to enjoy the Grand, and has become involved with the Red Cedars Fly Fishers.  A former board member of the Paul H Young Chapter of TU, the old man of the shop serves our customers with warmth, wisdom, and hearing aids.

Jack Gorno
I grew up in Northern Michigan and began utilizing the woods and water ever since I can remember. Fly fishing really took off for me around the age of 14. I started tying around the same time, where I could put my creativity towards catching fish. There is no better feeling than convincing a trophy fish to eat something you designed.  Fly fishing has taken me all over northern Michigan, Montana, New Jersey coast, and the Florida Keys. Whether it’s waiting for a hatch as the sun sets, waking a mouse for big browns, or stripping large streamers in search of northern pike, fly fishing has become a 4-season obsession.

Gavin Jones
Gavin Jones grew up in Bloomfield Hills Michigan with his family and their American Water Spaniel. They own a cottage on the North Branch or the Manistee River so fly fishing was and has been a large part of his life. When it comes to fishing Gavin chooses to do everything on the fly, from bass and pike to big browns and steelhead. Throughout the summer you can find him sitting on the banks of the AuSable and Manistee River systems chasing the bugs. This last year he worked at the Old AuSable Fly Shop in Grayling Michigan so if you have any questions about those fisheries he's the guy to talk to.
