Second Annual Nomad Anglers Bass 1 Fly team registration.
We are back again for a second year! Nomad Anglers will be hosting our second annual Bass 1 Fly on Saturday July 25th on the Grand River. Same rules as last year, teams of 3, 1 fly/person. Choose your team and flies wisely!
Overview:
- Up to 3 Anglers/Team
- 1 fly/person.
- $60 entry fee/ team
- Awards for most smallmouth bass (1st place prize, and 2nd place money back)
- Biggest fish prize
Rules:
- Photo of each fish with event sticker
- Largest fish entries must be photographed on a bump board or measuring tape
- Fishing time 8am-2pm
- Must fish in downstream direction
- Jets/Kickers allowed, may only motor downstream at idle speed.
- May only motor upstream if you are done for the day and going back to launch.
- Give other boats space keep 100 yards away from other teams
- 5 stretches - up to 3 boats/stretch
- Saranac - Lowell
- Lowell - Ada
- Ada - Knapp
- Knapp - West River Drive
- West River Drive - Riverside Park
Schedule:
- 7am - Meet at Nomad Anglers GR for kickoff
- Packet pickup and fly registration
- Draw stretches
- At least 1 team member must be present
- 8am - 2pm - Open Fishing
- 3-4pm - Fly shop meetup and debrief
- 4pm awards - must be present to win
