Squirmy Alevin

Squirmy Alevin

This pattern has been flying under the radar, (intentionally), for a couple years now. It is absolutely lethal on Trout and Steelhead here in Michigan. It's pretty easy to tie, and once you get the hang of it, you can fill a couple rows in your box quickly. Here's a rundown of the materials used:

Hook: Sz 8 egg hook (The Daichii New Boss Steelhead hook is nice)
Thread: White Gel Spun Thread 75 or 100 denier
Yolk Sack: Orange McFlyFoam (any similar color will work)
Body: Violet Squirmito (Pink would work too)
Eyes: Living Eyes, 3mm, Ice (again, color doesn't matter too much)
Other Stuff: Loctite Gel Super Glue, Loon UV Resin, Loon Infiniti Torch
