Warm weather returned last week and it blew the lid off the hex fishing. Good reports from across the state have been rolling in all week. Warm days are back and the bugs are here to stay! Dry fly season has gotten off to a good start with a good number of bugs showing up and some bigger trout working those bugs, its been a lot of fun. Hendricksons are winding down up north, but brown bugs and sulfurs are next up on the menu. Similar story downstate on the west side. Bugs bugs bugs! Hennies are falling, fish are eating, there’s not much else to say besides go fishing it’s dry fly season! We have had good warm up in temps which is helping us so much with bugs right now.
