First off, we hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this chaotic time. It's a very unnerving situation, with so much uncertainty ahead of us. We wish you all the best going forward, and hope everything returns to normalcy soon.  We've been getting out a fair amount, and the fishing has been good. We're going to keep it brief this time. Trout have been great. Steelhead have been fun, but certainly dwindling. Nymphing has been the best, streamers have been fantastic. Swinging for steelhead also good. Warmwater bite is turning on. We are in the midst of a pandemic! The Midwest Fly Fishing Expo in Warren this weekend has been cancelled, and the same goes for the Ultimate Sport Show in GR next week. Want to start by saying the Grand Rapids Fly Fishing Film Tour is TOMORROW! There are 2 showings, one at 4pm and another at 7pm. Water is up and dirty right now, but starting to drop and clear. There are steelhead around, but most of us have been targeting trout. Nymphing for them has been good, with the occasional steelhead hookup to keep it interesting. Steelhead numbers are quite low it seems, but sounds like there are some fresh ones showing up everywhere with the high water. Hopefully the Spring run is strong, like it usually is. Depending on the water, we could see them early if the water temps stay cold for a prolonged amount of time.
