Cool seasonal weather has returned and we were even blessed with some rain this week. It was not enough rain, but some is better than none. Rivers have bumped up a bit and with the cool nights in the forecast, water temps will start to slide. Increased flows and cooler temps should ramp up the bite this weekend. King Salmon are in full swing with reports rolling in of plenty of fish in nearly every river in the state.

Warm water bite has still been good and plenty have been getting out and capitalizing on these local options and ducking the crowds in last weeks warm weather.

The fall is arguably the best time for fishing with so many viable options, it can be hard to pick.

Trout fishing remains consistent as we press into the fall proper. Egg patterns and nymphs behind spawning kings have produced some fine trout in the past couple of weeks. Euronymphing is a great way to catch trout this time of year, if you are curious about Euronymphing check out one of our Free Euronymphing 101 Classes

Steelhead will be here soon, especially if we keep getting some good rainy days. Check out our upcoming class schedule, we have got plenty of options to get your fly boxes dialed for steelhead, get started fly tying, learn to euronymph and more.
