Trout opener is tomorrow! So get ready to head back out to your favorite creek and small stream that has been closed for half the year! With the way the weather has been treating us its no surprise we have a huge rain storm moving in today. It seems its going to rain from Friday all the way to Tuesday which is no fun at all due to the water levels finally coming down and leveling out! Heading out this weekend it seems its going to set up really nice for streamer fishing again like last weekend! All the fish...

Once again it’s that time of the year when we say goodbye to the steelhead that filled our rivers since October! It has been a great season by all accounts. I would like to thank all my clients that fished steelhead with me this year, definitely had its ups and downs but over all it was an awesome season! Now where does the season actually stand for the remaining days? Well, a lot of fish are up on redds doing what they came up river to do. There are a few fresh fish around but it seems to be the very tail end on...

Good afternoon everyone, just doing a quick little check in fishing report! Steelhead fishing has been steady throughout the state, for the most part the fish being caught have been there a while, not a ton of new fish showing up yet but that should change this weekend. So if you plan on fishing this weekend it should be very good, so get out there!!! The Grand River is running at 6,500 cfs right now, which...

Fishing reports from the past weekend and this week leading into the storm have been quite good. There are plenty of fish around, and many of them seem to be willing to play. The bump in flows the other week shuffled the deck a bit, and brought some new fish into the system. Now that we are back down to normal flows, good fishing should...

More water, new fish. It doesn't seem very February to me outside, but we will take what mother nature gives us. Rivers across the state got a bump in flows with the rain last week. The Rogue River is currently sitting at 500 cfs and falling. The Grand River is quite high at around 6500 cfs. This bump in water should bring up our first wave of spring fish. Fishing has picked up a good bit with the push of water and the warm temps. A couple shop buddies got into some nice steelhead on the PM over the weekend. With the...
